For homeowners in the middle of a build
The list of what’s still not finished — with the photos, the dates and the money attached.
Renovations don’t fail on the big things. They fail on the two hundred small ones nobody wrote down: the chipped tile, the baseboard that was never caulked, the door that was ordered and never painted. Punchlist360 holds every one of them, who owns it, how long it’s been sitting there, and what it cost.
- Punch list by room
- Photos as proof
- Approve or reject
- Project budget
- Insurance claim file
- Contractor free

What is Punchlist360?
Punchlist360 is punch list, project budget and insurance claim software for homeowners in the middle of a renovation or rebuild, and for the contractors doing the work. It keeps every unfinished item with a photo, an owner, a date and a decision, tracks estimate against actual, and exports a claim packet with every receipt matched.

Five things, done properly
Built from a real punch list on a real house, with a real insurance claim behind it. Nothing here is a feature we thought might be nice.
Every item, by room
Group the work the way you walk the house — master bathroom, lanai, laundry, driveway. Flag the urgent ones. Assign each item to the trade or the person who owns it. Search the whole list in a second.
Photos as proof
Photograph the problem from your phone and it lands on the item. Photograph the fix and it sits beside it. When a repair is disputed six months later, the before and after are already there with the date on them.
You approve — or you don’t
When work is called done, you sign it off or you send it back. A rejection needs a reason, and takes its own photos. The contractor gets your exact words, not a second-hand version of them.
A clock on every item
From the day it was raised to the day it was finished. The list sorts by how long something has been sitting, so the thing that’s been open for ninety days stops hiding at the bottom.
A real project budget
Estimate against actual, category by category, with every payment logged and every receipt attached. Money coming in from insurance or your own funding is tracked the same way. You always know where you stand.
The claim file
Carrier, claim number, adjusters, every letter, every check, the full timeline — and a packet you can send them with the shortfall stated as a number and every backup receipt indexed against it.
The part nobody else does
If insurance is paying, you need the paperwork to prove it.
Carriers don’t dispute what you can document. They dispute what you can’t. Punchlist360 keeps the claim the way an adjuster would want to receive it — and then prints it.
- Every payment the carrier has made, by type: indemnity, contents, loss of use, supplements, recoverable depreciation.
- Every dollar the covered work actually cost, category by category, from your own ledger.
- The difference between those two numbers, on the cover page, stated as its own figure.
- An indexed backup section — each receipt numbered, dated, with the vendor and what it was for.
- The full dated timeline: first notice, the reservation of rights, the estimates, the appraisal, every check.
- The scope still outstanding, with an estimate against it, so a supplement is easy to argue.
Illustrative figures.
Where it comes from
Offered to homeowners the moment a project starts
Punchlist360 is part of the Compendium family. When a job is booked through MyHomeService360 or Hospitality360, the homeowner is offered their own Punchlist360 account for the project — their list, their photos, their budget. The contractor keeps their system; you keep yours.
It’s your file, not theirs
Your budget, your receipts and your claim are visible to you and the people you invite. A contractor doesn’t get a window into what you paid for anything else.
Add it to your home screen
Install it like an app on an iPad or an iPhone. Photograph a problem while you’re standing in front of it, before you forget which wall it was.
Bring in whoever you need
Your spouse, your project manager, your public adjuster. Give them full access or read-only. Everyone sees the same list.
The other side of the same platform
There’s a version for contractors too
If a homeowner invites you to their punch list, you’re on it free — they pay for their side. And if you want to run your own jobs on it, Punchlist360 for Contractors is the whole business in one place, at a price that isn’t a Procore invoice.
Invited by a homeowner
Free, always
You get a link, set a password, and you’re in. No card, no trial, no seat fee.
- Every outstanding item, grouped by room, with the photos
- Move an item to In progress, then Ready for review when it’s done
- Photograph the finished work from your phone, on site
- Message the homeowner about any item — in writing, on the item
- If something is sent back, the reason is right there
You never see their budget, their receipts or their insurance. That side is theirs.
Running your own jobs
Punchlist360 for Contractors
Preconstruction through closeout, on one system, without the enterprise price tag or the twelve-week rollout.
- Bids, estimating and takeoffs
- Drawings, specs and documents with revision control
- RFIs, submittals, meetings and daily logs
- Budgets, contracts, change orders and invoicing
- Crews, timesheets and equipment
- Inspections, safety and incidents
- Punch and closeout — the part we already do better than anyone
Built around the work, not the menu
A field issue shouldn’t mean opening six tools. One photo becomes an RFI, a change event, a price request and a change order without anyone retyping it.
It works on the site
Everything on a phone, offline where it matters, with the camera one tap from any record. Most of this work doesn’t happen at a desk.
Your homeowners are already here
When you finish a job, the homeowner keeps their punch list, their budget and their claim file. You look organized long after you’ve left.
Pricing
One price. Everything in it.
No per-item fee, no upgrade to get the reports, no charge for adding your spouse.

Questions
The things people ask first
What is a punch list?
A punch list is the record of everything still unfinished, incomplete or wrong near the end of a construction job. A good one carries a photograph, an owner, a date raised and a decision — approved, or sent back with a reason. Read the full guide.
Does my contractor see all of this?
Only what you choose to share. The account is yours. You invite people to it — your spouse, a project manager, a public adjuster — and you decide whether each of them can edit or only read. Your budget and your claim aren’t a contractor portal.
What can a contractor see?
An invited contractor sees the punch list, the daily log, the drawings and the messages. They can move an item as far as ready for review and add notes and photographs. They can’t approve their own work, delete anything, or see your budget, receipts or claim file.
Does my contractor have to pay?
No. You pay $9.99 for your side; anyone you invite to work the punch list is free, for as long as the job runs. A punch list only works if the person holding the tools will actually open it, and charging them is the fastest way to make sure they don’t.
What happens when I reject a repair?
The item goes back to “in progress”, your reason is stored on it permanently, and any photos you attached to the rejection stay with it. The reason is required — an item sent back with no explanation is how the same argument happens twice.
Can I use Punchlist360 for an insurance claim?
Yes. It keeps your spending against the carrier’s scope of loss, matches receipts to categories, and exports a claim packet showing the shortfall with the backup attached.
Do I need an insurance claim to use it?
No. Plenty of projects are paid for out of pocket. The claim section simply stays empty, and the budget still tracks estimate against actual with every receipt attached.
Can I get everything out again?
Yes, at any time and without asking us. Punch list, budget register and receipts export to CSV; the punch list, budget and claim packet export to PDF. Nothing is locked in.
Does it work on an iPad?
That’s what it was built for. Add it to your home screen and it runs like an app, full screen, with the camera one tap away from any item.
I’m a contractor — can I run my own jobs on this?
Yes. Punchlist360 for Contractors covers preconstruction through closeout — bids, estimating, drawings, RFIs, submittals, daily logs, budgets, change orders, invoicing, crews and safety — at $149 a month for unlimited projects. It’s in early access, we’re building it with a small number of contractors rather than at them, and the Punchlist360 Pro beta is free to join.
How do I cancel?
Email [email protected] and it stops at the end of the month you’ve already paid for. There’s no cancellation fee and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
